The company expolited the Mina las Chipas among other Silver-Gold mines around, Arizpe, Mun. de Arizpe, Sonora, Mexico. Giovanni Pedrazzini made his fortune in the Mexican Gold and Silver mines, he later returned to his homeregion of Ticino, Switzerland. A small collection of minerals from the Arizpe region, collected by Pedrazzini at the end of the nineteenth and beginning of the twentieth century has survived time and is housed at the former "Scuola magistrale, Locarno" as part of a much larger collection of about 1000 pieces.
